Work, in a Vedic chart, is read from the tenth house, and classical astrologers gave Venus three things that bear on it: good clothes, a fondness for white clothes, and receiving respect and honour.
When they described the part of a chart that governs work, they listed honour, a good living earned with self-respect, and influence that rests on self-control.
Read together, they describe one thing: at work, how you present yourself is part of the work. Respect is often decided before you speak.
Modern work has blurred that. Screens and home offices mean many days begin in whatever was nearest.

That is what Venus under strain looks like in a working life. So your ritual moves the decision to Friday: Monday’s clothes chosen, pressed and hung where you’ll see them, with the first task already in the pocket.
The classical remedy for a troubled Venus was a gift: a good meal given to others, and a horse. A horse was how a person got to where the work was.
